Science and Senses
We apply a scientific and sensory process
Great coffee starts with selecting the right green (raw) coffee beans. We work with trusted coffee partners to source a range of coffee from each growing country that best match our quality and flavour requirements. From this group we test samples of each using industry standard sensory tasting protocols, as well as scientific equipment to measure moisture and density, and select our final coffees. Only the best coffee makes it through this process. We then roast our coffee using a mixture of the roasters human senses and state of the art roast control and monitoring systems to provide you with a consistent, high quality coffee. Sustainability to protect our environment and your supply
Our roastery is equipped with a large solar system that sees us produce more electricity than we use. This has significantly reduced our reliance on fossil fuel generated energy. We continue to seek new ways to make our operations more efficient and produce less carbon emissions.
